Brush Fire off of Farm Hollow Road 5-24-15
On 5-24-15 BVFD was paged for a brush fire on Farm Hollow Road. Engine 3, Mini Pumper 4, and Quad 9 responded at 1100 hours from Station 3. Engine 3 arrived on scene and found a small spot of land on fire and spreading. Crews started an instant attack and used the quad and a shovel to create a small fire break. Crews contained the fire to a small area and extinguished the fire after a hour. Crews investigated and found a camp fire that was not extinguished and the campers had left. Crews returned to service at 1300 hours

Truck Fire on Red Oak Lane 4-3-15
On 4-3-15 BVFD was paged for a truck fire off of Route 73. Tanker 2 responded with 4 and arrived on scene to find a Dodge Promaster truck with fire in the cargo bed. Crews pulled the bumper line and another line, and attacked the fire from both sides. Crews were on scene for about an hour and a half returned to service.

Car Fire on Pine Creek Road 3-16-15
On 3-16-15 BVFD Was paged for a reported car fire on Pine Creek Road at about 14:00. Tower 1 responded with 6 and arrived on scene to see fire coming out from the bottom of the car. Crews started to extinguish the fire and found engine fluids leaking from the car and causing the fire to spread. Crews eventually contained the fire to a small oil spill near the car and oil dry was used. Crews were on scene for about an hour and the driver and passenger had minor burns and cuts. Tower 1 returned to service at 15:28 and also had an amateur cameraman on scene to film the entire thing.

Antenna Fire on Oxford Road 2-15-15
On 2-15-15 BVFD was paged for a possible structure on Oxford Road. Engine Tanker 1 responded with 4 and arrived on scene with an antenna on fire. ET 1 requested for more manpower, Engine 10, Medic 8, and Command 10 responded. Engine 10 and Engine Tanker 1 started to attack the fire from both sides on the roof. FFs checked for fire inside and found no fire. due to the possibility of ice on the roof and the cold weather, crews switched after a certain amount of time. Once the fire was extinguished and the hoses were put away crews took the antenna down and cut the top of it off and put it into the junk pile.

Rollover on Interstate 68 2-14-15
On 2-14-15 BVFD Was paged for a possible vehicle fire with rollover on Interstate 68 Westbound, 3 miles before the County Line. Tiller 11 and Engine Rescue 5 responded and found a pickup on its side and no fire. The commanding officer requested for more manpower and tools once on scene. Crews then stabilized the pickup and extracted the driver from the truck. Once out of the truck the driver went into cardiac arrest, Medics got him stabilized and transported him to Mon General. Extreme towing cleared the scene and investigation states that poor road conditions were to blame and also the pickup not having a roof. The driver would possibly have been DOA if he wasn't wearing his seat belt.

Semi Rollover 2-8-15
On 2-08-15 BVFD was paged for a semi on its side on Prison Road. Squad 3 and Medic 2 responded and while responding the crew received a message stating that the rig may be leaking fuel and is a fuel tanker. Captain Conner requested for a Hazmat unit to respond. Engine Rescue 4, Haz-Mat Rescue 6, and Command 7 was specially paged to respond. Once on scene crews found a fuel tanker on its side in the ditch and with the driver still inside. Crews searched for leaking fuel and found no leaking fuel, but glass and anti-freeze was on the roadway. Crews cut the roof off and extracted the driver. He was transported to Ruby Memorial Hospital and was treated for minor bumps and bruises.

Structure Fire 1-23-15
On 1-23-25 BVFD was paged for a possible structure fire on Charles Town Road. While responding Engine 10 received reports that the fire was the medical supply store next door to the reported address. Engine 10 received further information that the structure was full of full Oxygen tanks and the second floor has collapsed. Engine 10 requested more units, Engine 12, Truck 2, Tanker 2, Engine Tanker 1, Support 8, Command 7, and Medic 2. When crews arrived on scene they found debris scattered around the structure and massive amount of fire. Crews battled the fire for six hours and then returned to service.
